Palace has been one of my favourite streetwear brands for quite some time now. The independent London based label started off as a skateboarding crew, and eventually grew and opened up their store in the heart of Soho. I decided to pay them a visit and check out the new AW16 collection!
The Palace store has such a cool aesthetic. It sits in the middle of a grotty busy street in London, and has this super bright shop window and subtle shop branding. There is a definite arty vibe in store with a cool marbled floor, huge planted pots and skateboards pinned to the walls. It’s the perfect space for such a creative brand.
The AW collection has strong 90’s influences and features wavy patterns, shell suits and tracksuits, bold graphic tee’s and colour blocking. It’s clear to see that Palace have really gone back to their streetwear roots with the new range. The retro look has been huge this season, with brands like Supreme, FILA and Reebok getting involved. It’s overall another awesome collection from the brand, make sure you check it out!
